Soothfully a phenomenal prog rock album—an instant classic. What motivates me to say so, is the music’s incredible expressiveness & its wonderfully cinematic song structures. Jargon is a very good fit with this band. It is quite evident that the band’s current lineup have great chemistry together & that they share a common affinity to this vein of music. I received the vinyl version of "For king and country" today through justforkicks Germany. Such a wonderful album in this rerecorded version. I did own the Si-music version on CD many year ago, but sold it for reasons back in the days. This new version is a complete different thing. A real gem. It brings back memories and is something completely new and different at the same time. Happy have the digital version as well for my outdoor music time. Thanks a lot.

The revived Big Big Train shows that you can't keep a good band down for long with a fairly easy listening, non confrontational selection of songs both traditionally long and catchingly short. if at times the acoustic guitars and sharp keyboard breaks are reminiscent of early Genesis then this is fully intended and respectful to the likes of Messrs Rutherford, Banks and Phillips. Vocal harmonies are, as expected, a delight to the ear and the whole is a big step forward from Welcome To The Planet
